Hello Starseed Families,
In preparation for our gathering Friday, we ask that you sit with the following so that you will be ready to thoughtfully write down what your family wishes to contribute each month to the Starseed Forest Nursery as well as what hopes you have for Starseed:
-- On Sunday nights at 9pm, all who are involved in the SMS vision, are asked to tune in to the land and meditate on the SMS symbol (which I just posted on the blog). I realize it's too late to join in for this Sunday, but the image is there, inviting meditation at any moment. This may be a wonderful way for us to join energies and receive clarity and answers to what our individual and group needs are and what we are being called to give.
-- We are going to create our budget after Friday when you will write your anonymous note stating your offering. There are, however, some basic needs for the program. I share the following to help you as you meditate on what feels right for your family to contribute towards these needs. We will have two teachers working 10 hours a week who have needs that include both money and food (both ingredients and cooked meals). We also will need to have food for snack and lunch for the children two days a week. We would like to give an offering to SMS for use of the land, but there may be more ways to do this than just the monthly gifts from the families (eg: work we do on the land, fundraisers, etc.)

We will meet at 5pm (note the time change), under the cherry tree by the yome. We'll be preparing the meal together as we will during school, and sharing our family stories. After we eat, we'll write down our monthly offerings to the nursery and then Sareen and Tiffany will play music and tell a story. We'll close by 7pm so that the children can get home to bed.
If you know of others who may be interested in joining Starseed, we do still have a couple of spaces available. Feel free to invite them to fire as well as to connect them with any of us and/or share the blog address.
